Bunuel generis: Kindly tell whether the following sentence is correct :
"Challenging times are an opportunity for individuals and the Nation to rise above their comfort zones and enhance life."
As per my understanding usage of "an" in front of opportunity is wrong, It could be modified as Challenging times are opportunities.
challenging times are plural, so we can assign plural things only.
Also, confirm, do we need to add "to" in front of enhance as well ?
Kindly provide the probable correct sentence for this .
