A..
B. the hog-nosed type, the size of a bumblebee and weighs about as much as a penny, to
C. the hog-nosed type, the size of a bumblebee and it weighs about as much as a penny to
D. those of the hog-nosed type, equal in size to a bumblee and in weight about as much as a penny, to those of
E. those of the hog-nosed type, which is the size of a bumblee, weighing about as much as a penny, to those of

can someone explain the answer to me pls??
Range from A to B is an idiom ->D and E are out

In C, it is not clear what "it" refers to ->C is out
Between A,B:
I pick A because "weighing about " sounds better.
Where does the underlined part of the sentence start? the word "from" is underlined, therefore only available in A?

A. the hog-nosed type, the size of a bumblebee and weighing about as much as a penny, to
correct answer, although not parallel, but best answer!
B. the hog-nosed type, the size of a bumblebee and weighs about as much as a penny, to
bat species is plural, 'weigths' is singular
C. the hog-nosed type, the size of a bumblebee and it weighs about as much as a penny to
bat species is plural, 'it weigths' is singular
D. those of the hog-nosed type, equal in size to a bumblee and in weight about as much as a penny, to those of
this sentence is about the species and not the caracteristis, hence a wrong comparision 'those of'
E. those of the hog-nosed type, which is the size of a bumblee, weighing about as much as a penny, to those of
same mistake as (D) and singular

cheers!

A.from the hog-nosed type, the size of a bumblebee and weighing about as much as a penny, to
weighing.....out

B. the hog-nosed type, the size of a bumblebee and weighs about as much as a penny, to
correct

C. the hog-nosed type, the size of a bumblebee and it weighs about as much as a penny to
it gives a notation that bumblebee weighs not that bat

D. those of the hog-nosed type, equal in size to a bumblee and in weight about as much as a penny, to those of
wrong contrast by intoduction of to those of

E. those of the hog-nosed type, which is the size of a bumblee, weighing about as much as a penny, to those of
same as above
