Hi,
I have a question regarding the idiom use of "fault". It's from
Manhattan prep Sentence Correction 6th edition, page 229, Appendix A.
The original sentence is as follows:
Wrong: It is the fault of the criminals who broke the law.
Is it correct that I use "to" instead of "who"? The new sentence will be " It is the fault of the criminals to break the law".
Since my testing day is approaching, I really want to figure this out. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
