Sentence Inversion or ellipsing [#permalink]

I'm not quite clear about Sentence Inversion Concept. How do I know if a sentence can be reversed. Can someone explain me this concept.

is it something like a palindrome....albeit for the whole sentence, instead of just a word like Madam or Anna

There are 18 types of inversion found in most of the SC SC notes found elsewhere in this site. It is also found in http://www.esnips.com.
