Hello,
I'd like to get some advice from you about INSEAD finance career track. I have quant/market risk experience in banks and want to go into hedge fund after INSEAD. If no luck in HF, I want to do Sales & Trading. I don't know which intake I should apply. I want to do September, but everyone said Jan intake gives you internship opportunity.
1) Do both Sep and Jan intakes have the same amount of finance recruiters (hedge fund, banks, etc.)?
2) Do banks and hedge fund now recruit full time from MBA, or only hire through summer associate program? Anyone got such type of job without an internship?
3) Is it possible for me to get into hedge fund or Sales & Trading without an internship given my background? Or even with internship, is it still very hard for me to get in?
4) When you interview for i-banks, do they allow you to choose office location?
5) I am already a VP in the bank, do they recruit any non-traditional-program route on campus? Can one get to negotiate a 3-year Associate to start with?
Thank you so much in advance for your advice!
