Vista products company has slow and outdated computers in its factories in comparison to their competitors. Their representative is saying such a criticism is unfair. Let's see why?
--> It is because Vista spent more money last year per factory upgrading its computer systems than any of it's competitors.
The question here is to weaken the argument and show why Vista Company is facing such criticism. A bit of pre thinking would tell us that maybe the huge cost undertaken by them in upgrading their systems is not a good thing where as their competitors have done it for price lesser than them.
Let's evaluate the options.
A. We do not care what other industries have spent in upgrading their own systems. Neglect this option.
B. We do not care about the profitability of either Vista or that of their competitors.
C. This goes along with our pre-thinking that if their own systems where good initially then they wouldn't have had to spend a large sum in order to upgrade their systems. A slow system requires large and expensive upgrade and it is not something to be proud of that they spent more money than their competitors. Hold on to it.
D. Again visiting every Vista factory is out of scope and ignore it.
E. Here production line speed is irrelevant and out of scope.
