Sheena, Meena and Reena invest amounts of $63000, $56000 and $84000 respectively to start a business. At the end of the year the profit is distributed in the ratio of their investments. If Reena’s share of profit is $54000, what is the total profit earned?

First, we are given the amount invested per each individuals. This information allows us to calculate their ratio :
$63,000 : $56,000 : $84,000 -> 7*9 : 7*8 : 7*12 -> S:M:R = 9:8:12
Second, we know that Reena's share of profit is : $54,000 (Which is pretty good in one year, well done guys !!).
Third, we are asked the Total Profit Earned :
(Reena's ratio * Total profit) / Total sum of ratios = $54,000
(12*Total Profit) / 29 = $54,000
Total Profit = $130,500.
Answer : A.
