Hi,

What is your recommended strategy for the biggest achievement(s) and biggest challenge on the Stanford and HBS application forms (under professional experience)?
* Biggest achievement: Is it ok if it overlaps with what you highlight on your resume? Wouldn't it be weird if you didn't highlight your biggest achievement on your resume?
* Biggest challenge: Would you recommend focusing on a general skill you had to learn (e.g., establish credibility towards senior experts), or one specific situation? Does it have to tie to what you need to learn from the MBA?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi Sarah, and thanks for your post.
I agree with you – your biggest achievement should certainly be mentioned in one bullet on your resume. You can then use your essay to detail this achievement.
As for your challenge, I think either can work; choose which one feels the most compelling to discuss. Ideally, you can discuss what you have already learned from this challenge, and if you have the word count, you can also mention how the specific MBA program will help you develop in that area.
Good luck!
