Hi,
I recently left my previous role. At that time, I was planning to start my MBA this year, but I decided to reapply and will now be joining business school in 2026.
In the meantime, I will be taking up a short-term role for about 10 months before the MBA begins, which aligns with my career goals.
My concern is: will such a short stint be viewed negatively by admissions committees? Should I include this role in my application (e.g., optional essay), or is it better to leave it out, which would then show a gap of nearly a year before business school?
Would appreciate any guidance.
