Since it appears you are a beginner, a group lesson may be good for you. I would personally spend the money and get a few half hour private lessons if you really want to play the game. A one-on-one lesson really allows you to learn much more and get more work on YOUR swing. Otherwise you'll be hitting balls for only 20 minutes or so with someone watching and helping you.
If you're thinking of taking up golf, which I think is a GREAT idea for business purposes as well as personal enjoyment, I would suggest watching golf on tv first to see how players act and read a book on etiquette and the rules before ever playing. While I have been playing since I was 5 and don't mind playing with beginners, it is always much more enjoyable they know the rules and how to act on a golf course. Nothing is worse than having someone in a foursome who walks in peoples lines, talks while others are hitting, or standing directly behind someone while they are swinging.
I hope all goes well and if I get in to Duke next year I would happy to give you a lesson anytime. Golf is a game to be enjoyed for life and can open many doors in the boardroom. (you probably already know that)
Sorry if this post sounds a little patronizing, it's just a pet peeve of mine with knowing the rules and etiquette first.
