Hey everyone, need your expert opinions on gmat strategy shift i might need.
so far have had 8 weeks of prep and 4 weeks to go till my test date.
using the 8
mgmat strategy guides and the OG 12 and OG math / OG verbal books along with the Powerscore CR
so far I have covered all the exercise for book 1-5 on the
mgmat ( quant topics)
then completed book 6 ( sentence correction) and the Powerscore CR bible.
practice test
1.
mgmat 460 -pre-week 1
2.
mgmat 530 - end of week 4
3.
mgmat 650 - end of week 5
4. GMAT prep 1- 590 end of week 7
as you can all see i dropped 70 points!!! on my first GMAT prep test which i feel was due to a terrible outing on my quant side.
my plan was to complete the last verbal
mgmat book by this week ( end of week 8 ) ( critical reasoning).
then spend the last 4 weeks taking 4 more practice tests and drilling all the answers i got wrong on my OG 12
error log. and also spending a day on tactics to tackle the 2 essays.
what do you guys think?
I am considering dropping the last critical reasoning study guide and starting my "
error log" review in advance instead since i feel CR is my strong point is that a bad idea? this should give me more time to go over OG 12 problems.
Also thinking of avoiding the OG quant/ OG verbal due to time ....are these books crucial? My goal is a 700
any other tweaks you guys think i should do?
best,
c
