Hi erenjaeger,

Based on what you've described, since you've already put in a couple of months of study, you really have to be more 'strict' about how you take your practice CATs (as they're the only way to properly measure your 'readiness' to face the Official GMAT). By taking the Quant section untimed (along with anything else that might not 'match up' with what you'll face on Test Day), you end up with an unrealistic score result that is likely "inflated." By extension, we won't necessarily know what you need to focus on to truly improve and ultimately hit your goal score. At this point, it's not clear whether you actually need to work with a tutor or not, so I suggest that you finish out your Course, then take a new, FULL-LENGTH CAT in a realistic fashion. Once you have that score, you should report back and we can discuss how best to proceed.

1) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
