Should I do OG if I Scored Q46 on GMAT PREP? [#permalink]

I have been studying for 7 weeks so far and have done all of Magoosh and watched many thursdays with ron videos (mostly verbal). I recently took the first GMAT PREP exam and score Q46 V25. I rushed through the verbal way too fast and knew that I should have done way better. The next day I took a Veritas Prep exam and scored Q46 V35. I took my time in verbal but still rushed through the RC, which was my one real weakness for verbal. My goal is 760 and would like to get quant to Q50/51 and V40+. I am not going to be applying to business school for atleast 3 years (currently a junior in college) so time is not a factor.

My question is specifically for quant. Should i do the OG quant and quant supplement book given my current situation and goal of q50/51 or is there a better option out there?

Hey alexmonnin

There is no doubt that you must do the OG's but this alone is not enough to get your
scores up to Q50+. You need to get a few 700 level questions correct to move beyond
your current level(of which the OG has a very few questions)

Perhaps this post could offer you some help what you must do
https://gmatclub.com/forum/how-to-impro ... 41670.html

My suggestion will be to take the GMATClub Tests and do all the problems diligently.
Whenever you end up making a mistake, make a note of the learning associated with
that question and re-read these notes from time to time till you stop making these
mistakes again

Hope this helps you!

Official questions are the best. You should do as many official questions as you can find. Consider getting exam packs 1 and 2 and question bank.
