Hi,

Need advice if a GMAT Focus score of 675 would be good enough to go ahead and apply for the R3 of ISB or should I retake the test before 21st.

I am a male, 24 with a 9.8 grade in X, 98% in XII, 8.24 GPA (IIT Madras), and have a professional experience of 2 years in Management consulting and 6 months in Construction project management. Only significant co-curricular or extra-curricular activity is in social service with 1 year of NSS and 1 year with an NGO related child education

Any help would be appreciated

Hi,
The GMAT FE score is fine to go ahead and apply. Extracurriculars would majorly impact how you shape your story. That's different for everyone.

PranayMandar Stats-wise you likely have what it takes to crack a competitive B School in late rounds, namely a tier 1 pedigree, strong acads, decent GMAT, pre-MBA consulting experience, and some social impact experience for narrative building. Honestly, I don't see why you should not give it a shot in R3. But having said that, at this point more than the stats, your storytelling ability would be able to get you to hit the home run more than anything else. I cannot emphasize enough that the story you tell in your application must be uniquely yours (and in your voice), reflecting on how various experiences have shaped the person you are today. Refrain from using generic, polished AI based tools that just suck your voice out of the essays. I have seen plenty of applicants ruining their chances with bone dry narratives. Stay authentic and present a well-deliberated piece on why you are considering the PGP at this point and why you should be given the last few seats that remain in R3.
