Thanks for your reply.

I was initially considering 3rd attempt, but most of the Round 2 application deadlines are in the first half of January, in which case I might not be able to apply (2nd attempt was on Novemer 24 and i cant take 3rd attempt any time before 24 December)

Anyways, thanks for you kind advice.

Hi sai2106,

As per the new rules from GMAC, you can take the test again after 16 days.
But I would not recommend you to go and take the test without refining your preparation.

The best way to improve is to focus on the official questions and make sure you understand what is the reason for an option to be incorrect. Especially in the Verbal section.
Also, taking the Full length GMAT prep CATs prepare you well for the GMAT. But your work should not end there. Make sure that you sit back and analyse the mock CAT thoroughly. Understand your weak areas and then focus on them.

Are you from India?

I was not aware of this change; however, I would not rush to 3rd attempt. Thanks for the information.

I am an Indian, but currently working in London

Hi sai2106,

First off, a 650/Q50 is a strong score (it's right around the 80th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:
