Hello Friends!
I appeared for my GMAT yesterday and scored 680. M-49 and V-32.
I prepared for GMAT for the last 3-4 months. I came across this site around a month ago. This site really helped me a lot to increase my score in verbal section. Like most of the guys here, I am decently good in maths but had to put in a lot of extra efforts in verbal section.
I want to get into the top notch b-schools either in US or in Europe . I have around five and a half years of experience in software. I know that 680 is not bad. But is it good enough to get me in into a good b-school. Just wanted to know your opinion on this. I feel with another 2-3 months of preparation I can improve my verbal score to around 36-37 which I feel will fetch me a score of around 720 (maths remaining constant , which I feel it would

Hi dips, 680 is a good score and certainly competitive anywhere so its not really a major issue. The only problem you may have is at schools that want above an 80/80 percentile, not sure what 32V is but i'm guessing its below 80th percentile. If you think you can improve your score upwards of 30 points a retake may be worthwile, if not concentrate on other parts of your application.
Are you a native English speaker? If so I certainly think high 30's to low 40's V shouldn't be too difficult.
