Hi,
I am in a big fix. I want to apply for a masters course whose Deadline is 31st Dec. I was targeting my GMAT exam in Nov and have been studying 1-2 hours per day since last 1 month. I was a horrible maths student and barely managed to pass. However, I was very strong with finance and accounting in Uni so pursued that career. Funny I know.
I joined a class and now its fair to say I am lagging behind. Most of the other students are able to solver problems in 2mins and I cant even understand how to approach the question. Its making me extremely frustrated to be that dumb math student all over again.
Money wise, I am very comfortable. Wont be a problem if I even quit tomorrow. The thing I am worried about is the Gap it will show on my CV, plus when i apply for the course I want to show that I am employed.
I discussed with my colleague friend and he suggested me that I should try to convince my boss to let me resign for a brief period. He says someone in the organization managed to do this once but it was a very very rare case.
I simply know that if I want to score good, I need to dedicate myself to full time study and start from basic maths. If I want to work and study then I will need at least 5-6 months. Never in my life thought GMAT would be so difficult.
