Hello everyone,
I’ve been studying for about 2 months. I’ve already booked an exam in late April but now I feel quite ready to take the test. Is it worth it to pay the fee to change the test date to late March?
I’ve been doing around 5 mocks and score in the 650-670 range (93-95%) - focus edition. I wonder if study extra for a month could improve the score even further? Part of the reason I want to do it early because of the stress, as work is also intense and the stress combined from both work and studying has really took a toll on my health.

Hey! It sounds like you've been putting in a lot of effort, and your scores are already quite strong. If the stress is taking a toll on your health, moving the test up could be a good choice—especially if you feel ready. On the other hand, if you think an extra month of focused prep could push your score even higher, it might be worth sticking to your original date. Maybe try a final practice test under exam conditions and see how you feel. Either way, you've already built a solid foundation, so trust yourself!

If you feel ready and are consistently scoring in the 650-670 range on mocks, you might not gain much by postponing your test to April. Since GMAT Focus Edition scores are valid for five years, taking it in March allows you to move forward with applications and reduces the stress of balancing work and study for an extra month. However, if you think another month of focused prep could push you past 700, then it might be worth sticking to the original schedule. Consider whether the added stress of waiting will outweigh any potential improvement. If your scores are stable and you're confident, an earlier test could be a good choice.
