Your problem is clearly verbal as you already know. What helped me was taking a month and starting my verbal studies over from scratch. I started with SC. I read half of the manhattan SC book and did about 20-30 problems from the OG on the topics that it covered. Then I read the other half of the book and did the same. This was over about 4-5 days. After I was finished with SC, it was time to start CR. I did the same steps with CR, but I would still do SC problems from either the OG or the Verbal supplements from the problem sets that I created (more on that in a second). After CR, I did the same with RC while still practicing SC and CR.
It was a pretty simple process to create the problem sets and it applies to all sections but RC. I created 12-problem problem sets using every 5th problem going BACKWARDS. For example if a section has 215 problems, set #1 would be [ 170,175, 180, 185, 190, 195, 200, 205, 210, 215], set #2[169, 174, 179, 184, 189, 194, 199, 204, 214], etc. The problems would repeat after 5 sets so I would make a pretty big jump to the next problem that I hadn't done. For example, the first problem of the first 5 sets listed above would be [170, 169, 168, 167, 166] and after that things would repeat, so for the next 5 sets, the LAST problems would be [164, 163, 162, 161, 160] respectively. The first sets have problems that are considered harder on the gmat, so you can consider the set order to be decreasing in difficulty. Sorry if that explanation was complicated.
For RC, I would still do about 2 passages at a time. I got into the habit of practicing a set from each of the verbal sections at least every other day. For example, one day I would CR and RC, the following day would be SC and CR, then RC and SC after that. When I eventually added PS and DS sets from quant into this practice, I would do quant one day and verbal the next.
Anyway, after doing this practice, my verbal went from about 32-33 on the
MGMAT CAT to 45. It genuinely got a lot easier. I was also finishing the verbal section of the test with at least 5 minutes to spare.
You seem to have a pretty good grip on math so you may not need this, but I did the exact same process for the quant section to improve my score.
