Should I retake the GMAT [#permalink]

I got a 710 score.(q49 v37)

However because of poor time management, I had 8 minutes for last 10 verbal questions. So, I panicked and guessed the last 10.
Should I consider retaking the exam?
If a 10 or a 20 point improvement is possible, will it significantly improve my chances at a good school.

I have 5 years of work exp in consulting(analytics) but a low CGPA :2.1

(I got 700 and 720 in the GMATprep practice tests)

Hi Mohan,

Taking multiple mocks might help. Apart from the GMATPREP, Manhattan GMAT tests and Veritas Prep Tests in my experience have good verbal and Quant section and will certainly help you point out and improve your weak areas.

Further another advantage of taking many mocks is to build up your stamina. Apart from the GMATPREP tests, taking practise tests of any major GMATPREP company ought to do that.

I must add that if you are particularly looking to discover and improve on your weak areas in Quant; a subscription to GMATCLUB tests is the best way to do that. They contain 26 Qaunt Test. They are indeed phenomenal and will not only pinpoint your weak areas but also help you improve on them.

Hope this helps. All the best.
