My third attempt was GMAT FE in July'24 and I got 675 (100%ile in quant but 60% in verbal) - I panicked and performed poorly in verbal, was performing well during mocks and had achieved scored in the 695-715 range.
I do feel I can do better in another attempt, if I calm my nerves.

If you decide to retake, consider checking out Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for CR. For RC, becoming familiar with how inference questions work as well. If you feel your fundamentals are solid, consider working on your solving approach. May help boost your score a bit. Perhaps include working with a study buddy. If you can find someone who is really strong on Verbal and needs help with Quant, that could be a good fit given your Quant performance. There's a study buddy thread on gmatclub you could check out/sign up to.

How to score high on GMAT Verbal.

Hi SurbhiBassi,

675 is a very good score, and you most likely don't need to take the test again. However, if you want to give it another shot, you should go ahead. Don't worry about the number of attempts.

Hi SurbhiBassi,

Although I don't think showing 4 attempts would be a huge deal, the good news is that with GMAT focus, you can send JUST your highest score, so schools will see just 3 attempts instead of four. Either way, take the GMAT again. It sounds as though nerves are what brought down your score.
