Hey guys!
I was admitted to UNC-KF last year and deferred my admission to Fall '21. The initial scholarship offered to me was about 30% and this year, it was increased to 50%. I'm happy about this but plan to ask for more since I did not provide any updates regarding my work and I have a few - job change and new industry/role exposure.
My question is - since my initial GMAT score is low-ish (710 Q49 V39), will retaking the GMAT and scoring higher increase my chances of getting a higher scholarship? I'm sure that a higher GMAT is always a plus, but since I've already paid my deposit and deferred, I was wondering if the chances of success increase proportionately with the time, effort, and money I'll be investing (providing I end up getting a higher score). I do not have any admits on hand so my options are limited.
I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this! Would love it if any UNC-KF alums or current students who were able to successfully navigate such a situation could chip in.
Thanks a lot!
