I recently took the classic GMAT edition. I did so after completing the 13 week study plan posted by GMAT ninja. I got a 710 (V42 Q46 IR3 AWA4).
To give some background, I am from the middle east, i work full time managing a sales team, and am still in the middle of my BA studying accounting and economics in the university. I had a short 2 month window durring which i could study for the gmat fairly unbothered (still had to work full time but school was out) and so i decided to take advantage and try to get above a 700 before they change the format to the new focus edition where acheiving a 700+ is harder.
After having purchased the princeton review course i realized i wasnt really improving and found the gmat ninja study plan, i condensed the 13 weeks into about 6 weeks trying to complete a weeks worth of work every 3-4 days and it was proving successful. Durring the practices i was generally much stronger in quant consistently scoring in the 47-49 range and weaker in the verbal (literally got a 40 on all of them except for 1 where i got a 41) in all the official GMAT Practice exams i scored a 710 total except for 1 where i got a 730. Anyways i finally took my GMAT this past sunday and got a 710. I am realisitcally not able to fully dedicate myself to retaking the GMAT before the end of january, at least not in a way where im confident i can really improve my score, just due to the amount of schoolwork in my BA as well as my demanding job (also planning a wedding btw). The real thing thats eating me up inside is my quant score, especially bc i knew the second i sent in the last question i got it wrong and i have a feeling it wouldve given me that Q47. Anyway i wanted to see what u guys thought, is it worth it to try to retake the exam before the end of jan (mind you i have only gotten more than 710 once in the practice exams and have exhausted 90% of the OG Material), and doing this in a way that would have a great cost to my personal life and mental health.
All opinions are welcome!!!
