In our opinion, if you have already sent the 715 score to some schools last year, you need not share the 715 score again. A higher overall score works better so both scores do not need to be sent.
Hi everyone, I am an applicant from an over-represented pool and believe a high GMAT score is crucial for my profile.
Last year, I score a 715 on GMAT Focus [Nov2024: 715(99th), with Q90(100th) | V84(89th) | DI83(95th)], and already sent it to some M7 schools.
This year, hoping to strengthen my applicantions, I retook the exam twice recently. While I was scoring 745 in offical mocks several times, my actual scores in these two attempts are in a simiar range to my last year's attempt:
Oct2025: 705(98th), with Q89(97th) | V82(74th) | DI84(97th) - Though without a perfect 100th, a 97th Quant score may still demonstrate my strong math level.
Nov2025: 715(99th), with Q86(91st) | V88(99th) | DI83(95th) - I think a 99th Verbal score is quite valuable for me, since I am not a native English speaker.
So would it be meaningful for me to send these two new scores to b-schools that received my original 715 last year already. Or it would be better to only send a higher overall score (but I don't think it is likely for me to allocate enough time to retook for a 725+ score within this year's MBA application cycle).
Thanks!
