Hey! Sorry about the DI craziness and that's insane you actually saw one of the TPA's on the exam.
I can imagine the frustration to have missed a question you have solved in the past. This would have killed me. I did not allow myself (as much as possible to make the same mistake twice). This was a standard I tried to hold myself to (besides the careless errors - I dealt with them at the end). Anyway, but that's not the main point.
I would say 595 is not that far from 655 and perhaps with a few snags that you encountered your real score may have been around 635 or so. What were your practice tests?
I think it should always be a consideration to take the GRE potentially. Schools accept both and if you feel strong about it, I would definitely consider taking a practice test without too much studying. We had a person last year who tried to take the GMAT but was screwed by the exchange rate somehow and short on money so she registered for the GRE (which is cheaper) and took it cold and got a 334 or something crazy like that, so it may not take more than just a day or a few days. I think this should not even be a poll... you should just take a practice test.

P.S. Seems like a bad test experience perhaps, esp with the last question. Sorry, yes, you have to submit these days...
