I have been studying vigorously for the gmat. My exam is a few days away (2) and I CAN NOT do one more problem. I am soo tired of looking at questions. But I feel like I should push on because I did not get to all the material that I wanted to get to. However, at the same time I think that if I overclock my brain that I will perform worse come exam day. I need to feel refreshed not stressed.
Hi MaxLRok, I think it's definitely time to take a mental break for a day or two. I usually advise students not to do problems the day before the test. This exam is like running a race, if you were running a race on Sunday, would you run for 3 hours on Saturday? The only thing you can do is tire yourself out! You already seem to know that you've had enough, so I'd recommend spending the next two days reviewing a few concepts and generally resting your brain (as you said you don't want to overclock). Sleep well the night before and do as well as you can on the exam!
Best of luck!
