Should I take my GMAT now or in a month?

Hi,
I'm debating whether to take the GMAT now (i.e. next week), or in a month (my original plan).
Let me explain my situation:
I'm applying for a program that has rolling admissions (i.e. they accept applicants on a first come first serve basis - anyone who meets the minimum requirements is accepted until the program is full).
GPA wise I exceed the requirement, and GMAT wise I'm pretty sure I could exceed it if I took it right now (minimum required: 600).
I took the GMAT prep 2 for the first time a couple of days ago and got 760 (probably slightly inflated).
The reason I'm thinking of taking the test earlier than planned is that I'm afraid the program might fill up. It's the first year that it's being offered and I really have no idea when/how many people apply. If I take the GMAT now I have a very high chance of getting in.
BUT
I was also hoping to get a good GMAT score (aiming for 750) so that I could put it on my CV (which I won't do if I only get 700) for when I start working. I have no idea how many places will be filled for this program by next month (the application deadline is the 1st of July but this doesn't say much).
So I guess you understand my dilemma.
- How big of an advantage is a good GMAT score on your CV?
- What would you do in my situation? Also keep in mind that this is pretty much the only program I can apply for (i.e. the only one I can afford).
Thanks
