okay. I guess I should check out the schools. However, I've never heard them taking the average before.

Chicago would be one of them.

For that group of schools, I'd take it again, for sure. I think you need to rethink your entire strategy though, if you've taken it 3 times and not shown a ton of improvement. Go through some of the GMAT stories shared on the Shar your GMAT Experience forum. That should give you some ideas. Best of luck.

Have you considered taking a class or working with a tutor? I would strongly recommend doing that and getting the score up significantly before attempting a fourth take. For Harvard especially, you're going to need to bump up the score a lot.

I don't think it is worth it. Whatever score increase you get can be offset by the 4th attempt, and think about if by chance you score lower or the same. It would have only hurt your application.

If I take it again, I would definitely try some other strategy. Although I'm confident that I would do better b/c I got a 650 and a 690 on my GmatPrep tests right before the test.

I just didn't want to study for a 4th test and get a 700+ :) only to have an admissions person discard the score because I took the test so many times.
