Should I think of MBA with a pathetic Academic background? 18 Dec 2016, 21:02

I am a 29 year old full time employee from Mumbai, India.

I am currently at a mid senior management level ( a Team Lead sort of).

I love handling challenging projects and have been consistently doing well professionally.

I feel that with an MBA, i would be able to unlock more professional experience and get a chance to work at a global level.

I have been consistently scoring in the range of 660-680 in the mock tests.


However, I fear that my academic record will be a massive hindrance.

I have been obtained 1st Class through out my academics.

However, there is a 8 year gap between ny graduation and undergraduation. Off course it was due to some unavoidable circumstances, but its there.

I have 8 years of work experience.

Just wanted to know if I do have a chance to get into a top 30 MBA college, if I can score a 700 in GMAT.
