I have a little bit different opinion about auto posting of answers after a fixed interval of time.
This would be very frustrating under the following circumstances
1)for people posting multiple replies to multiple posts as they would need to keep track of this . 2)sometimes no one replies to a post even after a week (if the question is tough ).
3)People visit old posts regularly, so it would be unfair to give them answers before even trying.
Solution: I suggest to store answers from the people who post question and provide the link to the answers privately to members who have replied to the question . This way forum will be more active and more people will apply their brain on the problem before posting and knowing the answer.
