A is clearly incorrect coz "whose" has no clear antecedent.
C is wrong coz "its" of "its clouds" seems to modify "Venus's geology" , this is wrong cause "its" must modify "Venus".
D also changed the original meaning coz what is "intermediate between Earth and Mars" is "Venus' geology" , not "Venus" alone.
E changed the OM,too coz what is "shrouded by clouds" is "venus" , not "venus's geology"
