Hi jcgomezlv,
I'm sorry to hear about the situation you faced on the day of your Exam; it must have been quite upsetting. The 'issue' of whether this appointment will actually count towards your 8-attempt limit will likely come down to whether you physically entered the Computer Lab and began your Exam or not.
If you never actually began the Exam, then this 7th attempt shouldn't show up on your record (because technically, there was NO 7th attempt). In this case, you might ultimately lose the Test Fee (since you didn't 'cancel' your Exam), but you should still have 2 attempts remaining.
Things get a bit more complicated if you actually started the Exam. If you had to run out of the Computer Lab in the middle of your Test - for whatever reason - then that's not the Test Center's responsibility. From a legal standpoint, you might have been running out of the lab to go share Test questions that you had seen - and however unlikely that situation might be, under these conditions, it's something that could have happened.
Obviously, the only way that this can be properly addressed is for you to reach out to Customer Support (probably repeatedly) to argue your case and see what Pearson's investigation turns up.
