Hi Bunuel, I was facing confusion with the wording 'may not'. This is not confirmative that boys will not be there at either ends.
“May not” here means “not allowed.” So boys are forbidden from the first and last spots.

Why don’t you say “not allowed” instead of “may not” to avoid the confusion?
