Lepium - LOL, I just had the mental image of you licking door handles trying to pick up germs.

Fluffy - That's awesome, I'm jealous!

well actually it's still in the jury selection process where they make sure the jurors are not racist or or crazy.

If I do get picked, the judge guy said it would probably be a month long to 2 month trial.

Although I would love to get the month off work, I'm not sure if I want to be sitting in a loooong @ss trial everyday for a month! I'm sure the judge will give me $hit for nodding off while evidence is being presented.... :P

2 months would be too long... A one weeker would be good.

Maybe you can be really persuasive with your fellow jurors and just say something like, "Look, let's just all agree that this guy is guilty and see if we can speed this thing up, because I don't need more than a couple weeks off of work? Who's with me?"

What can you do for people that don't file for 10 years...I mean, I don't need to know for personal information or anything...nothing like that at all...

Oh, Peli, you did not. you just didn't....right?

But here's the scoop:

Assuming you are owed refunds: you have 3 years to claim your refunds. In other words, your last chance to file and claim that 2003 refund is this Tuesday. Farther back, you forfeit your refund, but it can be worthwhile to file just to be on the up-and-up.

If you owe money: You have a million years to file and pay them. And you will pay three kinds of penalties, in addition to what you owe: failure to file, failure to pay, and interest on the balance due. These penalties are based on the outstanding balance and do capitalize, so can be quite awful.

If you owe a whole freakin' lot, it might be worth your while to pursue an offer-in-compromise.

No, I was just kidding. It's actually hard to imagine people going for years without filing, but when you really think about it I guess it probably happens all the time.

I'm working my @ss off trying to get projects under control and hand over all my responsibility before I leave. I've spent a lot of time in this company and want to leave on a good note...sigh..I just wish I could lay down on the couch, put on the TV and watch Shield and 24 and deal or no deal or Mad money all the day..

who watches Jim Cramer's Mad Money? pretty entertaining though I know squat about trading etc..
