OMG I'm gonna kill myself... I just sent an update on my application to Haas and Sloan. Forgot to change "Haas" to "Sloan" in the second email.... I thought I pressed cancel early enough when I realized and sent another one immediately with correction but apparently both were sent. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH this stupid waiting game is driving me crazy and do incredibly dumb stuffs...
Is there any good historical info out there on what percentage of applicants they interview and finally accept?
Congrats to all those who received invites already!

Yeah...In one of Rod Garcia's interview,he said that they call 800-1000 applicants for interview and then admit around 400 of them.So after you are called for an interview, you have a 50 % chance of getting in.
A grand total of two people in this thread have received interview invites and people are worried that its over... Download blocksite and lock out gmail at work, check once a day for school emails at home. Rinse and repeat.
At least that's how I am keeping my sanity. Albeit my gchat social life has suffered.
Guys I apologize since I know I can probably do the analysis myself, but can someone who knows tell me how long it's taken in prior years to go from the Boston-area invites to the rest of the country (e.g., West Coast)?
For all those who are waiting with bated breath, worry not -- you're not alone. We've all put in our best effort and a lot of people are praying for our success; therefore, I firmly believe that we'll all make it. Now SMILE and have FAITH
Boston-> NYC-> Atlanta (Savannah) -- they're certainly going down the coastal hubs.
Total invites = 4 [12:05 EST].

I think by tomorrow they will cover entire US. And California would be the last and largest group, given that most of the Engineer/IT folks are stationed there.
With only one Boston and NYC out so far, I think there are still many for the east coast hubs left. I'm not so sure the whole country will be out so fast considering it's been a trickle so far.
