Anyone admitted to Sloan Fellows and similar programs?
1. are there any alternate courses like accounting available as a GMAT alternative to microenconomics?
2. can you apply early on in the process and is it rolling?
3. can self sponsored candidates expect some or any financial aid, given the significant and material costs?
4. did anyone move to a new Job (or transition to becoming a great general manager) successfully in a senior role?
5. any comments on how many applications and how many of those are selected?
I am thinking about this program and the potential benefits to applying early as i want to plan one year away from work or a part time schedule. one year is more appealing given the constraints of my age but part time means a lower risk and out of pocket costs and no job search is required.
i don't have many school choices but a total of 5 (part time,EMBA or full time immersion) schools for consideration and i may not even apply to all these schools.
The GMAT is the deterring factor, as i just don't have time to study for this as a 21 year old with 3 years to apply to the MBA program.
I have read a lot of the blogs and information available, but would love to know if anyone has information on the acceptance rates
