Thanks for the encouragement J, nice to know I'm not alone!
Did you only use your Kaplan material, or other stuff as well? I just started doing the OG this week and I find it so much clearer now (though the questions seem tougher), just hope I can retain the info that I learned from making silly mistakes.[/quote]
T, I only used my Kaplan material. I actually discovered GMATclub after taking the GMAT. There are alot of people on here who seem to have a pretty thurough understanding of the pro's and con's of all the different study materials available.
One thing they don't tell you in the Kaplan class (at least didn't tell us):
Before you take the exam, a screen will tell you that some questions may not count towards your grade - they are possible questions for future exams. I did not know this - it was a suprise. More than anything, I (my company) paid Kaplan $1450 so that I was not suprised by anything on test day. This should not affect your strategy, just thought I would let you know! I can remember taking the test and wondering which questions were not counted (useless hypothesising!).
Aside from the practice (timed) tests, my favorite piece of material was the little blue book with information on math and grammer rules. This was a frequent bathroom companion of mine - might as well take advantage of any "down time!"
