Hi all,
I was recently admitted to the Smeal Online MBA program with no scholarship money and the Smith Part-Time MBA program with a small scholarship.
I’m torn on which program to choose. I am in marketing, specializing in digital technology, and want to eventually go for my PhD in Marketing so I can become a professor.
Which would best fit my aspirations?

It is awesome you are looking to become a professor. I assume your MBA plays into the PhD timeline somehow and you can leverage the classes? A lot of times the PhD will be free as you will be teaching at the same time and many choose that approach. If you are doing the MBA first type of thing, I would pick the lowest cost option since you are not going to be recruiting afterwards and the on campus interaction is not critical to you per se...
That's my take... I can see how you could play up Online MBA to be a strength on your profile. At the same time, I can see being in person and stigma of online MBA keeping you in the PT program.

I realized my undergraduate GPA made me a less competitive candidate for a PhD program, so I am going for an MBA to help with my current job situation and make me a more desirable PhD candidate in the future.
