My take on this
Smoking is unhealthy to such a large degree that it could significantly shorten one's life.
A. Smoking is unhealthy to such a large degree that it could significantly shorten one's life( large degree and significantly Redundant)
B. Smoking is so unhealthy that it could significantly shorten one's life ( this sentence conveys the intended meaning of hazardous impact of smoking)
C. Smoking is unhealthy to a large enough degree as to significantly shorten one's life( large enough degree and significantly and large enough degree sounds awkward)
D. So not healthy is smoking that it could shorten one's life to a significant extent ( passive and awkward)
E. Smoking is so unhealthy that it could shorten one's life ( dont find any error but against B it falls Weak)
