Always on my mind: ways to improve math... I think I am going crazy...
People, how do I get over my constant worry over my GMAT score???
You don't. Set a test date, study your @ss off, and take the test. See what happens.
At this point, I don't even want to set the date... With my schedule, I can study only on weekends, and so far, I do not see any improvements in math at all... grrrrr... That's after taking a
MGMAT class and doing all the problems in the OG. Enough complaining though... it is surely not gonna help

They say setting a test date is the only way to take preparation seriously and hold yourself to it. In my work, I talk with people a lot about setting and achieving financial goals, like getting out of debt, buying a home, and starting a small biz. One tool is setting SMART goals:
Specific
Measurable
Agreed-Upon
Realistic
Time-Sensitive
In other words, your goal can't simply be to do well on the quant - you have to make it specific about what that means, have a way of measuring your progress, be realistic about what you can do, and put a timeline on the whole thing. And for each large goal you have, break it down into smaller pieces, again applying the "SMART" thing. It's hokey, but I work with so many people (myself included) who have ideas about what they want, but because they don't articulate their goals, put 'em on paper, and actually take the steps, they don't get anywere.
Just my 3 cents. (I would say 2, but the post was too long and preachy to be only 2 cents.)
