No one even mentioned the fact that he's 37 and she's 26.

I predict an expensive divorce.

Sounds like the both were born with silver spoons in their mouths...look at what their dads do. Though I must admit I get jealous when I see things like this about how perfect some people seem. I am probably not the only one but don't you see these people and thinks its unfair sometimes, even though I know I have it better than a huge majority of Americans.

The perfect example I know of for unfair good fortune is one my dad's buddies' daughter. She is probably the single most beautiful girl I have ever met in my life. Her father is one of those uber-wealthy guys, he has a 5M fishing boat, a lambo, a couple huge houses, and pretty much every toy you could want. She was one of the top in her class at some super exclusive private high school and then went to Harvard. I mean the girl has everything going for her, she is gorgeous, a genius, and a huge trustfund...I mean any two of those you can accept someone being...she could be rich and smart but ugly. Hot and rich but dumb as a rock (ie Paris Hilton). But all three, no person should be that perfect.

Though I hope one day I can have kids who are as lucky as she is...

With his credentials, he should have aimed for a 21yo, then marriage will last another 5 yrs.

Just reading up some profiles of professors who teach entrepreneurship at Haas and came across one attorney who takes a popular class. Just as I think, what the hell is an attorney doing in this class, I read his profile below...

Ron is an attorney at the San Francisco law firm of Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Falk & Rabkin, A Professional Corporation (https://www.howardrice.com). He focuses on securities law, financings, venture capital, intellectual property and mergers and acquisitions. He works closely with start-up and private companies on issues related to equity and financings, intellectual property matters, the structuring of executive compensation (including stock arrangements), strategic ventures, acquisitions and management buy-outs.

Ron is a frequent lecturer on entrepreneurship, venture capital transactions, acquisitions, computer law, multimedia, strategic partnerships, employment matters and closely held businesses.

Ron received his J.D. from Harvard Law School where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review and an editor-at-large of the Harvard Environmental Law Review). He also received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. His undergraduate degree was in Economics from Harvard University.

This guy makes me want to throw all my HBS essays in the fire.

I know what you mean, man ! Thank God I don't know anybody that perfect. Life would be very difficult around such people :(

People (Read, my wife) tell me that it's more impressive if you come from a mediocre background and achieve big-time instead of being born with a silver spoon. But when I hear about these filthy rich (And lucky) kids, I don't care about my achievements. I just want to be rich and successful and just perfect without much work - just like those kids.

Orange County and USC is filled with these f###ers. No wonder its called the university of spoiled children.

I have set my dating priorities by finding out what the woman's dad does for a living and whether she is the only heir to his riches.

Seriously, life is rocking for these fellows. If I were them I would not have to move my sorry behind to the next door chinese take out store to get the lunch special for $3.50

My butler would be doing the needful

Hmm .. I don't know about appropriate. But "God" or "Superstar" or "Perfection" would be funnier. :-D

Take it easy guys, there are a few of these guys at every major school, but the majority are just reasonably accomplished people who'll bring something interesting into class.

I've known a couple of people like this, too. The worst part is when not only are they gorgeous, wealthy, smart, and connected, but are extremely nice people to boot. Then you just can't hate them no matter how much you want to!

Actually, just today when discussing b-school with a friend, he told me about the daugher of a friend of his who is in her mid-30's and is a very successful marketing executive. Of course he told me about this because that is my career goal post-MBA. The kicker? She never even went to college at all. Aaarggghh!
