Hi all,
I would like to know if there are many opportunities for a Software Engineer to work in financial services sector in Canada/Europe after getting an MBA in Finance? I am interested in software development in this sector, but people told me that this kind of job is now rare in Canada/Europe because it can be outsourced to developing countries.

The short answer is yes. There are many jobs in the financial services sector after your MBA. London is a financial hub, and not all activities can be outsourced. Many financial firms don't outsource their core technology activities. They are done inhouse.
The best way to answer this question yourself is to go through the job sites in UK and Canada. Go through Linkedin, Jobserve, Monster, etc and search for the relevant jobs. Good luck!
