E it is. I'll try to come up with a diagram a bit later. It was a bit confusing between B and E but there is a key difference which I at first overlooked.

SE (some entomologists) -> ET (enjoy tarantulas)
ET -> AMI (appreciate magnifying instruments)
Therefore, SE -> AMI

E is the answer.

It is E.
B is out of scope as the argument in question never mentions any use of the instruments.

What is OA?

well...

lets take this arument as ''some X does Y and all Y does z '

SE( as ob has defined so )= enjoy studying T
all who enjoy studying = appreciate...

lets look for the choice that goes only as ''some X leads to Y and all Y leads to Z''
X =some enjoy... Y = all studying... Z = appreciating...
A) ''all Z are X '' long gone man...

B) this is really out of scope!

C) this jus reverses the argument... remember the statement says ''some''... ''all X leads z AND ALL z LEADS TO y...''

D) absolutely wrong! cos we know only ''some'' enjoy and not all

E) says'' some enjoy and those who do enjoy will appreciate... ''some X do Y and all Y do Z '' = some X do z...

hope that helps! I guess I was clear ... if not let me know... I do it better ...

HAVE FUN!

I too drew a Venn diagram to get the answer. Anyway, one quick pick: when a CR like this has "SOME" in it, the answer will have "SOME" :P

ALL + ALL = ALL
SOME + ALL = SOME
ALL + SOME = SOME

not a generalization, but something that I keep in mind while solving these kinda questions.
