Answer D claims that regardless of protein free surgical gloves produced by Manufaturer X, these gloves may still cause allergic reactions per other substances. " There are other substances besides proteins present in surgical gloves that are known to cause allergic reactions." Hence assuming D it demolishes the argument that individuals who use the gloves made by Manufacturer X will not risk an allergic reaction. Any thoughts...

The argument assumes that the type of rubber in those gloves doesn't contain those proteins, either! Otherwise, how would someone avoid an allergic reaction?
