The OA is (A), but (A) is clearly incorrect. First of all, "for example" needs to have a comma after it. Secondly, "prescribed a drug as a dosage too low" is idiomatically incorrect - you don't prescribe a drug "as a dosage". Third, you need a comma after "effective", or the sentence becomes a run-on. I answered (B). "For example" is placed correctly between two commas; "a drug prescription that was ineffective because the dosage was too low" is idiomatically and grammatically correct, clear, and concise; and "being taken off a drug too soon" is parallel with "having a drug prescription". Can someone please explain how (A) can possibly be correct?
