I worked with someone with a profile very similar to yours in the last months. Also European, also T2 strategy consulting.

Applying *NOW* is not really an option. You are past the R3 deadlines (HBS doesn't even have one). Applying this fall, however, may be where you need to focus your efforts. If you apply and are admitted, at matriculation you will have 4 years of experience (did I get this right?). That's very much in the sweet spot.

From the results you are describing from the past, sounds like you need to start with the MBA Application Fundamentals. Consider yourself invited to MBA Application Boost Camp (we kick off April 17th).

Thank you very much for the invite, I will definitely consider it!

Yes indeed, by „now“ I actually meant this fall. So the dilemma is applying in fall 2023 & starting in fall 2024 vs applying in fall 2024 & starting in fall 2025.

I lean towards the latter because I will most likely have been promoted by then and thus have professional leadership experience to demonstrate in my CV and essays.

Do you think that makes sense? And do you think that profile would be competitive for HBS?

That profile can be competitive for HBS but just because it can be doesn't mean it will be. Leadership is much more than having a formal title/authority on your resume. I definitely think you might be better off waiting a year and doing some very deep research and preparation for your MBA journey. I'll be speaking about this this week - feel free to join.
