Hi All,
My experience while attempting the mock tests is that every time I give a Mock test from home, even with a high speed and wired broadband internet connection, the exam seems to eat up atleast 5 minutes from the total time. The reason for this is that the exam gets stuck in between and at times takes me to the home page while pausing the exam.
So far, I have attempted 5 mocks and every time I have encountered this issue of questions not progressing smoothly ahead with the exam deducting 5 mins from my total time.
I am not saying that this happens with all of the questions but just with a few of them when the exam gets stuck and its totally random as well.
This is severely impacting my ability to score well on the exam.
Kindly Advise and can similar situation happen at the test center too?

Hi nick4ever,
Although I do sometimes receive reports of connectivity issues and other disruptions, test takers generally won't face connectivity issues during a test-center GMAT.

I have faced similar issues while attempting official mocks through my laptop at home but I haven't faced any issues while giving any other company mocks. I haven't faced any such issues while giving the official mock through office desktop. I don't think there is any network issues as I have used the same mobile hotspot at office and home. There might be some system configuration issues in the laptop.
