I also choose ans (D) which is wrong .
As per my understanding,
(C) Only art that involves original ideas is influential.
The art which is original is not necessary to be influential. Which is illogical as per the para.

(D) Only art that is influential and involves original ideas is great art.
it is written in the para ,art involves original ideas,and that is not influential cannot be great art.
To be a great art , the art needs to be original and influential.
