Hi,
I am new to this forum, and I am in need of getting some help to prepare for my future GMAT test.
I am an up-coming senior at VCU, and planning on going to a b-school afterwards but I don't know when I need to apply for schools or when to take GMAT..
Could someone please explain to me how this whole application & test process works and when it is the best time for me to take the test? (I'll be graduating in 2009 winter)

Go to your library and find a book called "How to get into Top MBA programs" by Richard Montauk. You will get all the answers you need. Good luck!

Montauk's book is also a useful guide if you're interested in the whole process. I have a copy myself.
Since you're a college senior, you probably shouldn't be in a hurry to take the GMAT: general wisdom says b-schools want to see some serious work experience, unless you are an absolute superstar coming out of undergrad. Good news is, you're starting early, so you'll have plenty of time to study for the GMAT and ace it!
