Hi,
Does anyone know that even after the 10 minute break as soon as you finish the Quant. section is up, you won't automatically enter the Verbal section unless the administrator enter its password to unlock the access to the Verbal section?
And, do you also know that when the administrator fails to enter its password in time, any minutes spent after the 10 minute break will be substracted from your time slot for the Verbal section?
As for me, I did not know about this until I took my first test. Well, I knew that I need to call in the administrator to key in the password to continue to Quant. section from the AWA, but that was necessary because I needed to cut the break in the middle to rush into the next section. However, I didn't expect that I would have had to do the same, had I let the 10 minute break end on its own.
In my opinion, there is no need for test takers to call in the administrator for the password if he/she decides to spend the whole 10 minutes. It should have been logical to allow the CAT to automatically continue to the next section as soon as the break is up. Apparently, GMAT creator doesn't share the same view.
